You can get a used i8 for about half its original sticker price, and it's still a massively impressive machine. It's thrilling in a way that few cars can achieve by the numbers, there's little reason to buy a $164,000 bmw i8 roadster. I recently bought an i8 roadster because i was bored with everything else out there and i wanted a completely different experience. But i don't see it like that at all.
